This role involves setting part specifications to ensure high-quality products at optimal costs, including tasks such as drawing issuance, development confirmation, and Bill of Materials management. Key responsibilities encompass schedule planning from concept to mass production, designing and verifying parts based on vehicle targets, creating detailed 3D models and drawings, estimating costs, and collaborating with internal teams and suppliers. The position requires analyzing clearance, considering manufacturing processes, resolving cross-functional issues, developing countermeasures, and documenting all activities.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, 0-2 years of experience, and skills in 3D parametric modeling, drawing creation, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturing. Strong communication, organization, and project management skills are essential, as well as the ability to negotiate and optimize designs for cost efficiency.
Work primarily involves desk work, with occasional physical tasks during testing or inspections. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel and adhere to safety protocols in the work environment.
