Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in Peoria, IL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop components using Creo, coordinating across teams to deliver robust mining equipment solutions.

You will oversee early design reviews, translate reference parts into reliable assemblies, and contribute to manufacturing readiness. A bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 1–5+ years of experience are expected, with a hands-on engineering mindset and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 1–5+ years of industry experience.
• Proven Creo design experience and strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Create designs of basic to moderate complexity from reference parts/assemblies in Creo 3D modeling software.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product.
• Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency.
• Work cross-functionally with different teams.
• Prepare and present design reviews.
• Conduct system readiness summaries.
• Provide guidance to machine configuration for testing/validation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Must have design experience with Creo
• Hands on mechanical experience and/or farming background
• Heavy Equipment/mining industry experience preferred
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
