The Mechanical Designer is responsible for the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for professional-grade cordless, pneumatic, and electric power tools. Working within cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) teams, this role leads the design of mechanisms, gear trains, housings, and electromechanical integrations from concept through production release.
The successful candidate combines strong CAD expertise with practical engineering knowledge and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective product solutions. This role requires significant ownership of design decisions, collaboration across global teams, and direct engagement with suppliers and manufacturing partners
The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate’s skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
