Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to support ongoing design and product development initiatives. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, Creo, Revit, or similar), a solid understanding of engineering principles, and experience working in a fast-paced design environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D, 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, Creo, Revit, or similar)
• Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems based on customer and project specifications
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and support prototyping/testing efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation including BOMs, drawings, and revision control
• Support product lifecycle from concept through production release

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and PDM/PLM systems
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design (industry-specific experience a plus)
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, Creo, Revit, or similar)
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical design standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelors Degree preferred
