Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Detroit to design robotic workcells, fixtures, and tooling that actually get built and used on the production floor.

You will collaborate with fabrication and integration teams, own projects from concept through build to production, and contribute to a hands-on engineering culture across North America.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of mechanical design experience.
• Background in automation, tooling, or manufacturing equipment.

Your designs will actually get built, installed, and used in real manufacturing environments across North America. You'll work directly with fabrication, assembly, and integration teams to solve real production challenges - not just release drawings and move on.
