Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer near the Binghamton, NY area to join a global manufacturing leader. You will create and revise mechanical designs and drawings, ensure form, fit, and function through dimensional analysis, and support prototypes.

The role offers collaboration across departments, interface with customers and vendors, and input for cost estimates. A bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 1–3+ years’ experience are preferred, with Creo or similar CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3+ years of work experience, co-ops or internships.
• Experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Experience with designs, layouts, and specifications.
• Exposure to manufacturing and prototype support.

Responsibilities
