Job summary

E Ink Corporation seeks a Mechanical & Controls Engineer to advance pilot-scale roll-to-roll coating equipment. This hands-on role blends mechanical design, automation, and process integration to boost coating capability and efficiency.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to design, build, test, and implement modifications for coating and web handling systems, with emphasis on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years in manufacturing, automation, or process equipment roles.
• Internship/co‑op in automation or roll‑to‑roll systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of modifications to pilot-scale coating equipment.
• Develop mechanical designs and solutions for coating system upgrades.
• Assist with inline machine vision and inspection system integration.
