Job summary

A leading mechanical solutions provider in Rockville, Maryland, is seeking a Summer Intern to assist the Project Management and Design Team. The ideal candidate is a current college student pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Engineering who is customer service-oriented and possesses strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include tracking design revisions, assisting with project planning, and working with multiple teams to gain comprehensive mechanical contracting experience. This position offers flexible hours and is eligible for 401(k) benefits only.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Must communicate effectively in English (aural, verbal, and written).
• Able to adapt new techniques to better serve clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Team with project setup and planning by tracking design revisions.
• Create Purchase Orders and Subcontracts as required.
• Help track and create change order proposals for the project.

Skills

Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Education

Current college student pursuing Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
