An engineering firm in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a mechanical, electrical, or civil/structural engineering student for a full-time summer internship. The position offers an hourly rate of $23 and flexible working hours from 9 am to 3 pm. Interns will assist with calculations, drawing production using AutoCAD or Revit, field investigations, and attend consultant meetings. Qualifications
Completion of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, HVAC Design courses preferred.
Completion of Circuits, Power Systems Analysis, Renewable Energy courses preferred.
Engineering/Construction work-related skill, knowledge, and experience preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Responsibilities
Assist in calculations associated with studies and designs under guidance.
Assist in the production of plan, diagram, and detail drawings.
Assist in field investigations.
Attend consultant meetings to observe the coordination process.
