Job summary

Fluidstack in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced professional to commission mechanical systems for gigawatt-scale data centers. You will integrate cooling plants, CDUs, liquid loops, and airside systems from Level 2 through Level 5, writing test scripts that prove capacity and redundancy and executing them end-to-end.

You will read P&IDs and controls drawings fluently, troubleshoot live systems with vendors present, and feed findings back to the design team to accelerate future site

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning mechanical plant on mission-critical facilities through integrated systems testing.
• Written test procedures from sequences of operation and identified sequence errors.
• Fluent in reading P&IDs and controls drawings.
• Able to troubleshoot live systems with vendors present under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Commission mechanical systems for gigawatt-scale data centers: chilled water plants, CDUs, liquid loops, and airside systems from Level 2 through Level 5.
• Write and execute test scripts that prove capacity, redundancy, and failure response beyond basic operation verification.
• Run functional and integrated systems tests with controls and electrical to ensure the building operates as a single integrated system.
• Feed test findings back into standard design to speed up future site commissioning.
