About the Role

We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in the commissioning of Mechanical & Process systems to help lead the startup, stabilization, and handover of cutting-edge renewable energy facilities. This is a hands-on, field-focused role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems and components are installed and commissioned to meet operational excellence.

This is a high-impact role working across multiple commissioning projects during various phases of execution. You’ll bridge engineering, construction, and operations to ensure safe, successful system startups.

• Lead safe and timely execution of commissioning plans, performance testing, and startup strategy
• Oversee mechanical/process commissioning scope of work.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure delivery meets specifications and quality standards
• Support scheduling, documentation, and reporting for commissioning milestones
• Work cross-functionally with project engineering, operations, and construction teams
• Ensure compliance with site safety and environmental regulations
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, specs, and manufacturer documentation
• Build collaborative relationships with site teams and contractors
• Maintain flexibility for extensive travel and site-based project execution

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of commissioning and/or industrial operations experience
• Strong background in mechanical and process systems commissioning
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs etc.
• Familiarity with biogas plants, anaerobic digesters, wastewater, LNG or related field.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of health & safety best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commissioning documentation tools
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including extended field rotations
• Comfortable working flexible hours while on-site
