Job summary

QBE North America is hiring a Mechanical Breakdown Adjuster in Greenwood Village, CO. This hybrid role handles adjudication of mechanical breakdown claims, communicating with repair facilities and customers under a service contract. Training hours are 8:00–16:00 MT, with varying after-hours shifts.

Pay ranges from $28.00 to $41.75 hourly, with bonus eligibility for performance. Ideal candidates will have ASE certification, state adjuster licensing, and knowledge of MS Office and claims software.

Qualifications

• Candidates possess strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in insurance claim adjudication or call centers preferred.
• Licensing: ASE certification and state claims adjuster license required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, personalized customer service to internal and external customers.
• Determine validity and adequacy of dealer repair orders and loss reports; ensure charges are accurate.
• Enter information into claims software to document claim, verify pricing, and adjust settlements.
• Respond to inquiries per policy terms; provide accurate information to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team and escalate issues to determine complex exposures.
