AESSEAL Lombard is seeking a Technical Engineer to design and draft manufacturing drawings for mechanical seals and components. You will modify existing seal designs, create 2D/3D models, and maintain engineering documentation to support production.

The role also involves preparing BOMs, assisting with repairs and assembly, and contributing to continuous improvement with the shop and sales teams. A hands-on, detail-oriented candidate will thrive here.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, or related field preferred.
• Three to five years drafting/design/technical support in manufacturing environment preferred; five to seven years desirable.
• Hands-on mechanical seal repair/assembly experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and draft detailed manufacturing drawings for mechanical seals and components.
• Modify existing seal designs to meet customer equipment requirements.
• Produce 2D and 3D models using approved engineering software.
• Create BOMs, SAP material codes, and manufacturing documentation.
• Assist with repair, assembly, and shipping of seals.
• Support technical assessments and engineering documentation updates.
• Collaborate with sales and workshop teams to resolve design-related issues.
