Job summary

HDR is seeking a BIM Digital Design Coordinator to support the Mechanical discipline by developing the Mechanical Revit model and associated digital delivery outputs. You will work under supervision of an Engineer or technical professional to produce accurate BIM elements and documentation.

This role focuses on coordinating with Digital Design, Architectural, and Engineering staff to ensure precise models, layouts, and diagrams that drive energy-efficient and robust mechanical systems for

Qualifications

• Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential.
• Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of the Mechanical Revit model, with direction from the Digital Design, Architectural, or Engineering staff.
• Responsible for assisting with the creation of the Mechanical Revit model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output for the Mechanical discipline.
• Accurately model the BIM elements in the correct constraints of the modeling environment, using Revit.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams of the design using the current 3D software.
• Maintain the Mechanical Revit model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets.
• Produce Mechanical specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.

In the role of BIM Digital Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
