CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles to meet safety and reliability standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.

The role offers growth through ongoing training, and CarMax provides a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for external hires, with an hourly rate of $23.28–$41.94 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• - Experience repairing engines, steering, suspension and brakes.
• - Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• - Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• - Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• - Valid driver’s license.
• - Maintain ASE certifications as required by state/local law.
