CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team, gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles, and uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and an hourly rate between $23.28 and $41.94, with ongoing training in a climate-controlled, efficient facility. CarMax supports growth and a collaborative work environment.

Formación

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Validity of driver’s license required.
• Maintain ASE Certifications in Steering & Suspension, Brakes, Heating/Cooling, Electrical, Engine Repair, Drive Train, Engine Performance, and Automatic Transmission/Transaxle when required by law.
