Job summary

UCC Environmental is seeking skilled technicians in Corcoran, MN to assemble and install equipment, including plumbing components, enclosures, and electrical wiring. You will read drawings, operate machinery, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while following safety rules.

The role requires basic power and hand tools experience, plumbing and carpentry knowledge, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs; electrical knowledge is a plus. Overtime may apply and a team atmosphere is important.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of plumbing and carpentry; electrical knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing pumps, blowers, and other equipment assemblies.
• Construct enclosures for housing equipment systems.
• Operate forklift to handle sub‑assemblies and completed systems.
• Assist with control panel wiring and electrical wiring.
• Read and interpret drawings or specifications.
• Use machinery to build systems and basic hand tools safely.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain organized work area.
• Be consistently punctual and perform other assigned duties.

Location: Corcoran, MN 55340

Hourly Salary: $23.00 - $26.00

Responsibilities

• Plumbing pumps, blowers, and other equipment, most commonly PVC or galvanized pipe
• Construct enclosures for housing equipment systems, most commonly wood‑framed sheds
• Handle sub‑assemblies and completed systems with forklift
• Assist with control panel wiring/assembly and electrical systems wiring
• Read and interpret drawings, and/or specifications
• Use machinery to build systems
• Use powered and basic hand tools
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner at all times
• Maintain an organized work area and equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Consistently be present and on time
• All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Basic power and hand tools experience necessary
• Plumbing: general knowledge
• Carpentry: general knowledge
• Electrical knowledge is not a requirement, but is beneficial

Essential Physical Abilities

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders
• Ability to work standing all day
• Ability to utilize full manual dexterity—bend and twist at waist and knees and reach overhead, along with sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting, walking, and manipulating tools with limbs extended

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour based on skills and experience
• Overtime Eligibility: 1½ times per hour
