Job summary

NOV Artificial Lift in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team on site. You will assemble ESP equipment and subassemblies, test and inspect finished products, and operate cranes and tools.

The role emphasizes 6S adherence and a safe, efficient work environment while collaborating with a tight-knit team. Entry-level friendly; strong mechanical aptitude is valued, with up to two years of assembly/testing experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and testing of ESP equipment (preferred: up to two years).

Responsibilities

• Assemble ESP equipment and subassemblies, following engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform testing and inspection of assembled equipment to verify quality and performance.
• Operate overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with and actively support the facility’s 6S Program (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety).
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
