Mechanical Assembly Technician (First Shift)

Bailey Specialty Cranes and Aerials specializes in designing and manufacturing custom Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) tailored to meet the toughest access challenges. Our solutions include specialized features, such as Factory Mutual-certified Explosion-Proof MEWPs and clean room-compatible platforms, built to deliver precision, quality, and performance. Role Description

Bailey Specialty Cranes and Aerials seeks an Assembly Technician (Internship) to assist in the assembly and production of custom machinery at our Muskego, WI facility. This on-site role requires the assembly of mechanical systems, use of tools and equipment, and adherence to quality control measures to ensure high-performance products. The Assembly Technician will work closely with the engineering and production teams to bring concepts to life, contributing to the creation of cutting-edge mobile platforms.

Hours

Our first shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, M-F) means you’re off early every day.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly processes
  • Experience with soldering and precision tasks

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work on-site in Muskego, WI
  • Previous experience in mechanical or technical assembly is a plus
