Aerotek in Florence, KY is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician on a contract-to-hire basis. You will perform basic, standardized mechanical assembly using hand and power tools in a climate-controlled environment, following detailed instructions and reporting production counts.

Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Safety rules and procedures are a key part of daily duties in this onsite role.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with basic mechanical assembly in manufacturing/warehouse.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
• Able to use scanners and report data.
• Strong attention to detail during visual inspection.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Work under close supervision as part of a team.
• Must follow safety and security procedures.
• Degree required per employer.

Responsabilités

• Follow detailed verbal and written instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform basic, standardized mechanical assembly operations on components.
• Manually assemble components using visual aids and verify specs.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Apply labels and identifications as directed.
• Use scanners and basic equipment to support assembly and reporting.
• Report completed assemblies and production counts in systems.
• Work under direct supervision of management.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in the warehouse and production environment.
• Support production and operations with additional duties as assigned.
