We have an exciting opportunity for Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our team. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to assemble a wide variety of extrusion equipment using both mechanical and electrical assembly skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate fitting, alignment and adjustment to very close tolerances and strict inspections.
  • Working from engineering specifications, blueprints and general instructions, plan assembly procedures and methods.
  • Test complete products or subassemblies to meet exacting operating requirements.
  • Perform bench and floor assembly or a wide range of complicated mechanical and electrical‑electronic control equipment.
  • Uses all types of precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools.
  • Makes suggestions for product improvement.
  • Detect faulty operation, defective material, and refer these and other situations to Supervision.
  • Follows standard safety regulations and maintains good housekeeping in area.
Experience & Education
  • High School or Technical School Diploma
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Familiarity with at minimum three of the following: mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, piping (including air‑pneumatic, water, and hydraulic), use of a variety of hand and power tools, measuring and test instruments and material handling equipment, fabricates and welds parts as required to support production requirements.
