Integra in Houston, TX seeks a Team Lead responsible for guiding production teams in the mechanical assembly process. You will interpret drawings, communicate requirements, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence across multiple work orders.

The role emphasizes coaching, problem solving, and continuous improvement within the DEPTEC department, with a strong focus on teamwork and meeting customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish methods for installation of mechanical components, equipment, and instruments.
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly and measurement tools.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Excellent command of English, written and verbal.
• Experience supervising others and coaching team members.
• Practical experience in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to manage people and make decisions.
• Understanding of production and work order processes.
• Factory experience required.
• Physical fitness to lift 30-50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and communicate requirements to work teams.
• Identify and report discrepancies and control drawings.
• Troubleshooting of mechanical and assembly processes.
• Ensure project schedule milestones are met.
• Coach and direct work teams to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Report defective material or questionable conditions to supervision.
• Manage all work orders; track, assign, and monitor progress.
• Plan resource requirements based on work orders and production plan.
• Foster teamwork within the department.
• Ensure safety and quality in material movement and practices.
• Train employees on safety regulations and policies.
• Develop skills and abilities of team members.
• Ensure required training is completed by staff.
• Record labor hours in the ERP system.
