Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation in Gainesville, GA seeks an experienced assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components according to drawings and schematics, using a variety of tools and fixtures.

Responsibilities include preparing parts, reading blueprints, inspecting connections, and documenting production activities. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform overhead lifts regularly, while maintaining a safe and efficient

Qualifications

• Candidates must read assembly instructions and blueprints.
• Able to interpret parts lists and use templates.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and overhead lifts up to 30 lbs frequently.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Document production and quality actions.

Assemble Mechanical and Electrical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications and or Provided drawings and schematics

Requirements

• Prepares work to be completed by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Lifting over head up to 30 lbs on a frequent basis
