Job summary

Skyline Products, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for the TFC Division to assemble mechanical components according to engineering drawings and quality standards. This full-time day shift runs 7:30am–4:00pm, with pay of $20.00–$24.00 per hour.

You will use hand and power tools, read blueprints, and fit components, contributing to transportation solutions. Candidates should have assembler experience, blueprint reading ability, good QC knowledge, and strong teamwork

Mechanical Assembler – TFC Division

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Skyline Products is a leading manufacturer of electronic price signs and transportation systems based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are a team of collaborative innovators dedicated to designing and manufacturing the industry's highest-quality signage and software solutions.

We are currently seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join our TFC (Traffic Flow Control) Division. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrive in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble mechanical components and products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards while contributing to the production of innovative transportation solutions used across the country.

Job Type: Full-time

DAY SHIFT: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

Compensation for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 an hour.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Uses hand and power tools to assemble manufactured parts
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an assembler
• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc
• Ability to use tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition

Regularly performs physically demanding tasks that require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds or more, including lifting items from ground level to waist height and overhead. Must be able to safely handle heavy materials throughout the workday while following established safety procedures.
