  • Experience in machine shop practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Mold Processing Support: Completing resin fill, oven processing, demolding, mold cleaning, and material movement to return molds to loading station.
  • Work with fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, nuts, helicoils, inserts, and adhesives.
  • Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies.
  • Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances to ensure proper fit and clearance.
  • Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers.
  • Work within a small team/group.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of previous mechanical assembly experience, preferably working with Aerospace products
  • Self Starter
  • Ability to work with little to no instruction and supervision
  • Previous machine shop work practices background preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
