Job summary

SITE Staffing Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Assembler- Material Handler in Wisconsin (New Berlin) for the first shift. You will build mechanical assemblies from prints and sales orders, read blueprints, perform testing, and help ensure quality and safety in production.

The role requires basic math, the ability to use measuring tools, and lift and move parts as needed. Forklift experience is preferred, and electrical wiring knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and common hand tools.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and testing experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform wiring is a plus.
• Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials and components.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical builds and assembly operations according to prints, sales orders, and production requirements.
• Read and understand simple mechanical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and perform field wiring when qualified.
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and other assembly equipment safely and accurately.
• Perform basic arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and accurately record measurements.
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift; forklift experience is preferred.
• Use overhead hoists and lifting equipment as required and trained.
