Job summary

You will stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with a small team to ensure quality workmanship and timely production. Training on forklifts/overhead cranes provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
• 2 years experience in metal fabrication or assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by supervisor, including material handling, cleaning, and general helper tasks.
• Position and align parts using jigs or fixtures.
• Maintain tidy work area and ensure safety.
• Assemble parts using crimping, welding, riveting or similar operations.
• Fabricate or assemble new/modified mechanical components.
