Job summary

Prattwhitney in Decorah, IA is seeking an entry-level manufacturing associate to operate automated welding machines and related processes, with training provided. You will inspect your work, maintain productivity, and follow strict safety and quality rules while contributing to cost-reduction and continuous improvement efforts.

Job Summary

Location: RIVER, DECORAH, IA, USA

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00PM – 10:00PM

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding machines, automated wire stretching, stringing ceramics, immersion testing, and related tasks once trained and/or certified.
• Inspect own work to ensure quality, workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications are met.
• Maintain productivity to meet customer deadlines.
• Comply with Raytheon Technologies rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements.
• Participate in cost reduction plans, continuous improvement plans/events, audits, and trainings as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report progress to the lead or supervisor.
• Complete additional assigned tasks within the scope and skill level of this job description.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical education related to manufacturing.
