Job summary

NEOTech is hiring for a hands-on assembler to build mechanical housings and electronics. You will read blueprints, assemble components, and integrate wire harnesses while standing for long periods. The role requires following IPC guidelines, ensuring quality, and documenting issues.

Ideal candidates have entry-level experience, can lift up to 35 lbs, and work under close supervision in a clean, safe environment compliant with ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience with basic assembly and interpretation of drawings is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform highly repetitive tasks is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and handle small to large components.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical housings and electronic assemblies.
  • Read and follow blueprints, diagrams and BOMs to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Perform quality checks and document defects or deviations.
  • Rework or repair assemblies according to engineering changes.
  • Maintain clean work areas and adhere to ISO standards.

Job description

Summary:Assembly of mechanical housings, systems and hardware for both stand-alone products and products containing printed circuit board assemblies. Primary work is conducted while standing utilizing hand tools (powered and manual), machinery or applicable materials.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and productsUtilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gunMaintain inventory of product in work stationsPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standardsIdentify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identifiedRework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changesAdhere to all requirements and Board Handling.Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on the components’ moisture sensitive levels (MSL).Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings and work instruction processes.Identify hardware, wire assemblies, sheet metal and plastic components.Work with miniature to large components that may require visual magnification.Integrate electronic assemblies and cables into mechanical housings.Use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches and screwdrivers).Support and follow all ISO standards related to NEO Tech’s various Quality Management Systems.
