Job summary

Tennant Company seeks an assembler to join a team that handles production from receiving parts to shipping finished machines. You will perform mechanical assembly on multiple stations, support 5S housekeeping, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring quality.

The position requires a high school diploma or technical degree with 2–5 years in mechanical assembly, plus knowledge of mechanical and electrical components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Technical degree or 2–5 years related mechanical assembly experience.
• Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures in mechanical and electrical assembly.
• History of continuous improvement in prior roles.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products mechanically with independent judgment.
• Work on at least four stations, including main line work.
• Maintain tools and keep the area clean and organized.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Troubleshoot and adjust assemblies to quality standards.
• Follow supervisor plans and priorities.
