Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Mechanical Assembler Level I for the GIS Production Team in Wendell, NC. The role involves building and wiring Low and Medium Voltage electrical distribution equipment such as switchgears and switchboards on the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM).

You will read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings, and record job transactions. Basic English, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and safe tool operation are required.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build Low and Medium Voltage electrical distribution equipment such as switchgears and switchboards.
• Record job transactions and read BOMs, layouts, and assembly drawings.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
