Job summary

Image Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build mechanical and plumbing sub-assemblies for cutting-edge entertainment tech. You will interpret diagrams, use hand and power tools, and aid QA and safety processes.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in mechanical/electrical assembly, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Teamwork, strong work ethic, and good communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years mechanical/electrical assembly experience a plus.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers for QA.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong work ethic and team-based mentality.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and plumbing sub-assemblies.
  • Interpret diagrams, drawings, or written instructions to assemble parts to engineering specification.
  • Use hand and power tools.
  • Complete assembly QA paperwork in collaboration with other engineering team members.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with company procedures.
  • Assess assemblies for quality assurance and defects, complete QC paperwork.
  • Assist the Manager, Fabrication & Assembly with maintaining the inventory management for the Engineering and Fabrication department.
  • Accept, inventory, and properly store Incoming materials, components, and hardware.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures and rules.
  • Approach work with a team mentality and collaborate to meet deadlines.
