Job summary

Marine Travelift is seeking dedicated Mechanical Assemblers for 1st and 2nd shifts to build customized boat handling systems, including hoists and transporters. Training is provided in-house, and prior mechanical skills with strong attention to detail are required.

The roles involve reading blueprints, assembling subassemblies, and installing hydraulic and electrical components in a hands-on environment. Positions include 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; Fri 6:00 AM–12:00 PM) and 2nd shift

Qualifications

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Prior mechanical experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to follow verbal and written work instructions in English.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

Assemble boat hoist components and subassemblies into a finished product.
Install engines, compartments, pumps, tires, conduit and hydraulic lines.
Mount parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto large equipment using power tools and hand wrenches.
Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts for final assembly.
Utilize overhead and jib cranes to move steel beams and columns as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
