Nammo Defense Systems Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for the 3rd shift (8pm-6:30am Sun night-Thurs morning) to support shoulder-fired systems and energetic material solutions. The role involves precision assembly, adherence to safety rules, and operation of processing equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience in manufacturing and packaging, and the ability to obtain BATF approval. Firearm-related regulatory compliance is required for employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specific relationship to each other with extreme accuracy.
• Operates and tends automatic and manual processing equipment.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Performs general housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure safe working conditions.
• Performs general maintenance of equipment as required.
• Ability to recognize and report all operational variances as trained.

Job description

Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired systems; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, medium & large caliber ammunitions, mortar ammunition; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.

Must be willing to work 3rd shift - (8pm-6:30am Sun night-Thurs morning)

• Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to be at work on time and on a consistent basis

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including the movement of materials weighing 5-50 lbs
• Ability to obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operations
