Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Voorheesville, NY, seeks a Package Assembler to manufacture compressors and related equipment per detailed specifications and schedules. You will assemble and disassemble units using hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts to contribute to high-quality products for customers.

Standard shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with a 30-minute break. You will perform mechanical/electrical assembly, align motors/compressors, wire components, install piping, and hydrotest,

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble compressors, blowers, and related equipment using hand tools, power tools, cranes, and fork trucks.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly work including motor/compressor alignment, electrical box assembly, and system installation.
• Install and connect instrument wiring, electrical components, and oil/water piping per drawings.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing and verification to ensure equipment meets standards.
• Follow OSHA safety rules to maintain a safe work environment.

Job description

You will be part of our Package Assembler team reporting to . Your mission is to manufactureproducts according to detailed specifications and schedules. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

• Assemble and disassemble compressors, blowers, and related equipment using hand tools, power tools, cranes, and fork trucks.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly work, including motor/compressor alignment, electrical box assembly, and system installation.
• Install and connect instrument wiring, electrical components, and oil/water piping by following assembly and wiring drawings.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing and other verification steps to ensure equipment meets quality and operational standards.
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures, maintaining compliance with OSHA requirements and contributing to a safe work environment.

This role involves standing for extended periods, working in a temperature-variable environment.

The actual hourly gross base pay range for this position is $29.00 to $33.00. The actual compensation package will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including but not limited to the qualifications, experience, and skills demonstrated during the recruitment process. In addition to base salary, this position may include an annual bonus,paid time off (including vacation time, sick time, and paid holidays), a401(k) with up to 6% company match, and flexible working hours to support work-life balance.

Your location and working hours

This position is based at our Product Companyin Voorheesville, United States (US). Standard shifts are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, including a 30-minute meal break.
