Job summary

BW Papersystems in Sheboygan is seeking a Mechanical Machine Assembler to assemble and erect box-making machinery, including feed, printing, cutter, and scorer-slotter sections. The role requires precision alignment and reading blueprints.

You will use hand and power tools, work to tight tolerances, support team members, document quality and production data, and contribute to ongoing process improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 1 year experience in mechanical assembly or related fields.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

The Mechanical Machine Assembler assembles and erects complex box-making machinery, including feed, printing, cutter, and scorer-slotter sections. The role requires precision mechanical assembly, alignment, and adjustment using blueprints, measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
