This role requires precision, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:- Assemble equipment, sub-assemblies, and vehicle structures according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and bills of materials
- Perform inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Use hand and power tools in alignment with assembly instructions
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Manual dexterity and ability to work with tools
- Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:- IPC or related industry certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical or structural assembly
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Kaizen principles
- Ability to perform quality inspections based on technical documentation
- Experience in the rail, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing industry
Work Environment:- Manufacturing shop floor environment
- Standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly
- PPE required (provided by employer)
