Job Summary:

The Assembler will assemble manufactured products according to specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble large machinery, fabricated metal products according to directions.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to build to specification.
• Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Previous experience with and the ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Previous experience operating hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Detail-oriented.
• Consistent workmanship.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis; lift 50# on occasion.
• Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed including bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must wear safety glasses, face shield, gloves, and ear protection.
