Job summary

Valmet in Lenox, MA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our shop floor. You will apply your assembly skills to help build world-class products and learn from a team of experienced tradespeople.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–3 years of industrial experience, with strong attention to detail and the ability to read drawings and blueprints. Forklift and crane operation may be required on site.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1-3 years experience acquired in an industrial facility, or equivalent experience
• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and a fork truck
