Do you enjoy working with machinery, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and rebuilding equipment? Valmet is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our Lenox, MA team. This is not a repetitive production assembly position. In this role, you'll disassemble industrial equipment returned from customer sites, inspect components for wear and damage, perform repairs, and rebuild machinery to meet quality and performance standards. You'll use mechanical drawings, precision measuring tools, and your mechanical aptitude to help restore equipment to like-new condition. We're looking for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in solving mechanical challenges. Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, equipment repair, automotive or diesel mechanics, machining, or related trades is a plus, but it is not required. Candidates should be able to read mechanical drawings, use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, and apply basic shop math.
