Job summary

Staffmark, in partnership with Flextronics, is hiring Mechanical Assemblers in Dallas, TX. The role involves assembling electrical and mechanical components from blueprints and wiring diagrams, using hand and power tools, and performing quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will work 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, on the 1st shift, with a pay rate of $19.50–$20.00 per hour. A collaborative, safety‑minded environment is emphasized with opportunities for skill

Qualifications

  • 6+ months experience in assembly/manufacturing/production environments.
  • Able to read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools and measuring devices; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components per blueprints and drawings.
  • Install, crimp, bolt, solder parts in cabinets and panels.
  • Perform quality inspections to verify manufacturing specs.
  • Support production goals by completing assemblies accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with repairs, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • 6+ months of experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, warehouse, or related environments
  • Electronic, mechanical, or switchgear assembly experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to perform detailed visual inspections
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Manual dexterity for precision assembly work and repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. for larger production assemblies
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and perform detailed visual inspections, including color recognition
Job Duties
  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components using blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and assembly drawings
  • Install, crimp, bolt, solder, and secure parts within cabinets, racks, and panels
  • Perform quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet manufacturing specifications
  • Verify materials and components before starting each assembly project
  • Support production goals by completing assemblies accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate quality, safety, and production concerns to supervisors and engineering teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and manufacturing work area
