Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for an onsite contract-to-hire role in Cranberry Township, PA.

You will build industrial equipment and subassemblies by following specifications, drawings, and work instructions, using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. You should have prior mechanical assembly experience, read basic drawings, and be capable of lifting and handling components typical of manufacturing environments; safety and clean-work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to operate common hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
• Proficiency with tape measures and standard measuring devices.
• Capability to lift and handle manufacturing components safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in production machinery.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to assemble parts.
• Interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Measure, cut, and align parts using standard measuring tools.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and function.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety procedures.
