Job summary

Moog seeks an Intern in Mechanical Analysis Engineering to support the Space & Defense Group with hands-on analysis tasks. The role is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with potential work in Elma, NY. Candidates must be enrolled in an engineering program, have a 3.0+ GPA, and be eligible for U.S. export-controlled information access.

Your work will include FEA, CFD, and 3-D modeling, with opportunities to learn from a multidisciplinary team and contribute to tests and design improvements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with GPA >= 3.0.
• GPA requirement specified by department; must be in an accredited program.
• Requires access to U.S. export-controlled information and relocation ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Mechanical Analysis tasks and support SDG groups across the US.
• Perform analyses including FEA, CFD, and design modifications as needed.
• Validate solutions with studies and correlate to test results.
