Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a spring block intern for the Actuation team within the Military Aircraft Group. The position requires on-site work in East Aurora, NY, with relocation to complete the internship.

You will contribute to new products and assemblies, and gain exposure to design, technical reports, and part selection. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering programs, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and can relocate for the internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's program.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Moog U.S. Internship Program participants are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the successful development of new products, components, or assemblies.
• Work experience may include conceptual or detail design, proposal design, writing technical reports, or part selection.
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
