Job summary

HEICO is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Temecula, CA to design, build, troubleshoot, repair, and modify specialized test systems and fixtures. You will work from schematics and instructions, using basic machining knowledge and applying electromechanical understanding of sensors and loads.

You will document test results, support hydraulic/pneumatic techniques, and collaborate across teams to ensure quality and efficiency in a dynamic environment. Leadership and communication are valued assets.

Provide engineering design, build, troubleshoot, repair, and / or modify an array of specialized test systems and fixtures, and assembly and inspection tooling from schematics and/or written instructions (specific or inferred). The Mechanical Engineer has the responsibility and authority to perform assigned tasks.

• Develop mechanical design and drafting skills, including basic machining knowledge as applicable. Be key focus and provide expertise on new product introduction.
• Develop electromechanical skills to include understanding and use of switches and sensors, application and measurement of mechanical load and position.
• Complete appropriate test documentation and certifying to test results.
• Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment and techniques.
• Other duties may also be assigned.
