Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental standards, codes, NexTier, and client policies.
• Reads diagrams and schematics to follow work procedures.
• Operates hoists and lift devices to position machinery safely.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on company assets.
• Lubricates, services, diagnoses, and maintains vehicles and equipment.
• Verifies equipment is DOT compliant after repairs.
• Communicates current status of equipment to team.
• Washes radiators from inside and outside; pressure washes equipment.
• Utilizes spotters to connect tractors to trailers.
• Dolly up and down trailers.
• Reads and interprets safety manuals and operation instructions.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Keeps up to date on industry standards.

Detailed Description:

• Ensures compliance with workplace safety, environmental standards, national codes, NexTier, and client policies and regulations.
• Demonstrates proper driving techniques for applicable DOT vehicles.
• Obtains required certifications and licenses.
• Learns and operates basic auxiliary equipment involved in maintenance operations.
• Maintains a consistent focus on service, quality, and safety.
• Reads diagrams and schematics to follow work procedures.
• Operates hoists and lift devices to position machinery safely.
• Performs routine maintenance and non-routine repairs on company assets.
• Lubricates, services, diagnoses, repairs, assembles, and maintains vehicles and equipment.
• Stays updated on changes to industry standards.
• Ensures completed work passes safety inspections.
• Verifies that equipment is DOT compliant following repairs.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Utilizing spotters connects tractors to trailers.
• Dolly up and down trailers
• Washing of radiators from the inside and outside
• Pressure washing of equipment.
• Communicate current status of equipment
• Cleaning of oil catch can & catch tanks.
