RATP Dev maintains a fleet of buses, which includes 35-ft. CumminsISL engines, Alison B4000, Ford E450, 25-ft Cutaways, Triton V-10 gasolineengine. Under general supervision, the prospective candidate will strictlyfollow the maintenance manager’s directives and performs a variety ofjourney-level diesel mechanic and related mass transit vehiclemaintenance/repair works, inspections, maintenance and electrical repairs,ranging from minor to major. The new hire will be placed in “A,” or “B,” classificationbased on experience and aptitude. “B” mechanics, under supervision andtraining will have opportunities for advancement to “A” mechanic.
