Job summary

Sudden Service Inc. in Texas is seeking a Scheduled Maintenance / Mechanic Trainee who will report to the Service Center Manager and assist Field Service Mechanics in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment.

You will perform tasks such as lubrication, oil/filter changes, brake adjustments, belt and hose inspections, and documentation of service work, while maintaining a neat truck and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must have natural mechanical abilities and able to perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required for insurance eligibility.
• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance tasks: lubrication, oil changes, filter services, and brake adjustments.
• Check fluids, tires, belts, hoses, and coolant; report issues to FSM.
• Assist Field Service Mechanics at job sites to learn repair techniques.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork promptly.
