Performance Food Group is seeking a Mechanical Trainee in Maintenance to assist with upkeep, repair, and inspection of equipment and facilities while gaining hands-on experience and training.

You will support preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems under supervision, and learn safety protocols while developing technical skills and contributing to our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to learn under guidance of experienced maintenance professionals.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate hand, power, and specialized tools.

Responsibilities

• Support preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems under supervision.
• Learn and apply safety protocols during maintenance activities.
• Help maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and equipment conditions.
• Participate in on-the-job learning opportunities to develop technical skills.
• Work closely with senior maintenance staff on various projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
