Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment and may involve working on generators, pumps, HVAC and related systems. High school diploma or GED is required, with trade training preferred. On-site, full-time position with great benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel/heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• Make repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Work with diverse fleet including aerial platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC equipment.
